**Happy Dance**

Sooooo....we got the REALLY, REALLY important paper!!


I woke up with a happy mailbox....it was delivered at 6:33am :) :) :) I am soooo not a morning person! (those who know me well can attest to that! LOL) But this morning I checked my inbox while still in bed....


Snooze #1 - nothing
Snooze #2 - nada
Snooze #3 - National Visa Center Notification!!!


Dear Sir/Madam,
The attached correspondence relates to your adoption petition. Please read the information carefully and blah blah blah blah.....


I have the paperwork to move on to the NEXT STEP!!!

Soooo......tomorrow we will have our Article 5 papers dropped off in China.
They can be picked up 2 weeks later, which is February 5th.

Chinese New Year starts Feb 19th....


So that means we will have exactly 2 weeks to get our TA (travel approval - usually takes 1.5-2 weeks) and CA (consulate appointment - we HAVE to have this before we buy plane tickets and firm up our travel itinerary - usually takes 1-5 days after TA).


So it  IS possible.....


It COULD happen.....


But, in dramatic McCray fashion, it is going to be down to the wire! A dramatic finish!


And since I'm such a sports person, I'll make a sports analogy....If we get TA and our CA BEFORE Chinese New Year, it will be like a game-winning half court shot on the buzzer!! A goal made from mid field! A touchdown with the guy running far ahead of everyone else and they can't catch him to knock him down.....you know - EXCITING! and nerve-wrecking too! lol


But for now, I'm not worrying about that. I'm doing a happy dance!!


Now....to name this baby..... :)


Did I mention I have to have an official name by 4:30? LOL
